Bienvenido a Miami

It’s hard to believe that yesterday we were donning our sweaters against the brisk onset of fall in Boise. This morning, I awake in hot and sunny Florida, where the humidity is about 110%! You would think that I would be used to such humidity, having spent most of my summers in Virginia, where it can be equally balmy, but I don’t know that anyone ever gets used to humidity. I think people just find a way to deal with it…like air conditioning!
I’ve been to Florida a few times growing up, usually it was always for the Feast of Tabernacles, but this time we are just passing through on our way to Oxapampa, Peru! Tisha, on the other hand, has never been to Florida, so she is thoroughly enjoying the experience; the heat & humidity, little lizards on the sides of Burger Kings, and, of course, palm trees.
While our visit here is short, we will have an opportunity to see the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area again when we return from Peru.
Having fun in the sun,

Hope you and Tisha had an awesome Feast.
When will you be back in Idaho?

We just got back in tonight! It was warm and sunny when we left Miami this morning, and snowing in Denver, and about 40 degrees here in Boise! We’ll tell you all about it once we’ve had a chance to settle in!
